So for those of you that know me, you know I am getting married to Ricky Cadden (aka:Symbian Guru). I originally set the date for April but quickly moved it up to March 29 when that was one of the very few dates available at our place. So people ask, how is wedding planning coming? Well, lets see. I have the place and that is about it. No photographer, dj, flowers, or cakes. In fact, I haven’t really been all that stressed to get anything accomplished. I am not sure if it is something every bride goes through or just me. The countdown is 112 days to go I literally have a million things to do. So is it easy to do those things when your getting married to the Symbian-Guru who has three sites and writes for two other people. The man also goes away on business (not always but he still does, lol) which I don’t mind. I am not saying I like him being gone but since I know that is what he loves then I want him to do it. However, the most annoying aspect is trying to ask wedding questions and the Guru is attached to his computer like super glue. He does good some days but others, blah. I always say you are not marrying your job, nor trips, nor your site. Know don’t take this the wrong way people. A woman needs attention from her man and our relationship isn’t going to be based around a computer or a tablet. It isn’t right now but every once in awhile I have to remind the Guru of that. So eventually the wedding well come along. As for the web cam to broad cast live I am still deciding. So you guys will have to wait and see.

So I haven’t been on in awhile because I have another blog about fashion and stuff, which I love. Plus, this is more my personal blog. But I received an email requesting approval for a comment on a blog I posted about the iphone awhile back. My post was about how no phone is worth over $400 dollars. Well, the person who left me a comment said that my rant was one of the top rants for the iphone. So of course I googled iphone rant’s and there it was. Amazing! At least people know it is out there. I still stand by my rant and the fact that phones are well, phones. Hello, don’t people know they could do so much more with the money they drop on phones. Then again there are those phone lover’s like my guru boyfriend who has a phone addiction. I wonder if they could make up a group for people with phone addictions. We could call it CPAA- Cell Phone Addicts Anonymous. Any who, I am currently mad at Nokia right now for my N73 being broken and it seems that no one can fix it! Hello, Nokia. Are you guys not the one’s who built the phone? So why have I been without it for over 4 months now? Yeah, I understand I date the Guru but I am a customer who had a great phone that no one seems to be able to fix. I thought cell phone companies that create phones can fix them! I guess I was mistaken. So who knows when and if my N73 will ever be fixed.

(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Migraine) The reason I am writing this post is because I have had migraines since I was 12 years old. I have tried every medicine in the book. Some worked and well, some not so much. Now I am on a daily dose of Topamax to prevent them which I wonder if it even works and imitrex. I will admit to not taking the topamax as recommended but it is hard when you work nights and you sleep during the day. My schedule is so screwed up I usually forget to take a lot of my pills. I think switching from nights to days causes me to have a lot of my headaches as well. But one thing is for sure! If you do not have headaches then you have no clue what it is like to have a migraine. The pain is so intense and throbbing. There are times when all you can do is cry because you are in so much pain and no one can help or understand. You get tired of people telling you to go take a nap, lay down, stop being a baby, or it is just in your head. Well FYI guys, it is not just in our heads! It is a proven disease affecting 18% of women and 6 % of men. All you have to do is type in migraine into Google and you will pull up 6 million articles on migraines in .05 seconds. Ricky and I went to the Ft. Worth Zoo and spent the day. Here are our adventures! Hope you enjoy!!

We played monopoly last night with our best friends Shawn and Danielle. It amazes me how one game can bring out so many emotions. Not just with the girls either! It started off were poor Danielle had nothing (so I made a pretty decent trade with her) then Shawn wanted to make a deal with her. Well, she wasn’t quite ready to make a deal and boy did tempers fly. Off course, let me jump back a bit. Before this Danielle who had nothing was hating the game and said she would never play the game again. She informed us it was stupid. Of course, I am not a big fan of the game because playing with Ricky means he is going to buy everything he lands on. Yes, that is how the game is played but it gets annoying when every time you have to pay him he high fives Shawn or something. Ok, so Shawn got back into the game and apologized for getting mad. Eventually, Danielle was out and it was down to us three. I believe we started this game around 8 or 9 and by this time it was 11. With the game pretty close and no end in sight we needed something to make it harder. Of course the guys who are always coming up with their own rules decided we would double up on our hotels so if someone landed there we would pay double. This worked great but I was getting mad because every time I passed go Ricky took my 200 dollars because I landed on his stupid purple property. So sorry honey. Any who, after Ricky ran out of money I finally won when Shawn called it quits after he ran out of money around 3 in the morning. It amazes me how such a game can go on forever.

Mandy’s Birthday was a few weeks back and we all went to downtown Ft. Worth to celebrate! It was so much fun. Here is the video!!

Ok, a couple of things. One, this post is my own personal rant on Ricky’s last iphone video. Two, if you leave a rude comment then stop reading my blog because I personally don’t give a crap what anyone thinks. I am going to write my thoughts as if. So, I am so sorry if you are offended in any way but go cry somewhere else because I am not going to listen or put up with it. Now onto my point. For those that don’t know Ricky put a iphone video up for 7 days. His last one was about a ring tone and how it was gay. They even added the apple sign that was made of rainbow colors. Actually, I still think it is pretty freakin funny. So he made a comment about how something was gay and a lot of people freaked out. They said it was offensive and etc. etc. Well, I just want to point out that a person’s blog is their own personal way of sharing what they want with the world. If you can’t act like grown ups and you get offended that easily then maybe, just maybe, you should go and take a class on how to have a sense of humor. How many movies out their on any site talk or make offense to someone. I can vouch in the last week I saw over 10 on you tube. Of all the ones out there that is just a small fraction. But do you see my name on any of them commenting on how offended I was. Hmmm, no actually you don’t! Oh, wait a minute could it be because I am a mature grown up who actually knows that in the world we live in you are going to get offended. This is a free country to do and say what we want.  So I don’t take it to heart or even care if something that someone puts on youtube offends me. Because I realize it is their right. If you are so offended by a video that someone put up then why can’t you just act like adults and keep your mouths shut. Because I know I personally don’t want to hear how poor, poor you are offended and thought better of a person. I can vouch for most of my friends that they would agree. So go cry to someone who cares because most people read your poor, poor pitiful comments about how you were offended and think, wow what an idiot. That person needs to grow up!!!

So here are my 8 things!

1. I was born and raised in Texas. I have never lived outside of Texas but I think it would be cool for a while. Even though I am a true texan I hate spicy food. I can’t even eat black pepper. I know it is bad.

2. I am probably the pickiest eater I know. I don’t like meat all too much nor vegetables. So that leaves me with very little to choose from. I have trouble eating fruit and bread spoils before I eat it. I absolutely hate milk and try not to use it if I don’t have to. Since I work nights I mostly drink a bunch of coffee and eat one or two meals a day primarily consisting of oatmeal and noodles.

3. I was once engaged and he lied, cheated, and knocked up an 18 year-old named LuLu. Funny story but very true. entire wedding paid for and I called it off. A blessing in disguise actually because after many dates I finally found the man I love and who loves me. We are still learning so much about each other and every day is an adventure! he actually inspired me to start my own blog!!!

4. I have never owned an S60 device before my N73 (which Ricky gave me). I love it! In fact before my N73 i only used a phone for calls to my friends and family. I had the same phone for over 3 years!!! It was a fight to get rid of it. But I guess it was time.

5. I am a true blonde. Some of you probably wonder if I am a true blonde and you know it!! I love my hair color even though a lot of people think blonde’s are stupid and ditsy. Well, I will say I can be a ditz at times but I would consider myself intelligent. I have a BSN in Nursing and not just anyone can pass nursing school.

6. You will never see a video on my site with my house in it! I feel there are some things that need to be left private. That is one of those things.

7. I have proven hearing loss in both of my ears. About 50% in each ear. I have hearing aids that I don’t wear but i can hear somewhat decent.

8. I value my relationship with Ricky very much. I never want us to be that couple who is all into their phones and computers and never have time for each other. So we make sure that all blogging and cell phone stuff is done during my work hours, or after we have spent a couple of hours without the computers on. Three days is plenty. I like my attention. I believe every healthy relationship needs to have that time without other stuff going on. I would say we have a great relationship and if you question my relationship I will be the first to go off on you. FYI, don’t piss me off, I can get feisty. I also don’t want to be that couple who doesn’t make time for their friends. It is a must that we see are friends and hang out with them at least once a week. Danielle is one of my best friends as you will notice she always reads my blog and leaves comments.

Well, I decided to create a movie of my life in pictures over the last eight months. Not all my pictures are in the movie, just some. Hope you enjoy the show!

Last Summer I went with a some friends to Chicago. It was the first time for some of us and we were amazed how oblivious people are. For instance, Brandy and I were dared to run like Phoebe on the TV show Friends. (The one where her and Rachel going running in the park and she runs all crazy!). So we did and no one even payed attention to us. Anyways, it was also my very first video recording ever with my camera. So hope you enjoy!
